Focus on the inclusion of green areas, wood and glass has resulted in the creation of light and natural surroundings for an animating and relaxed business atmosphere.
With around half a million passengers a year Friedrichshafen airport is the second largest in Baden-Württemberg. Friedrichshafen is the gate to the large international hubs of Frankfurt and London. Comprehensive scheduled connections mean stress-free travel. The direct link to the airport by rail means that passengers can alight at the stop "Flughafen/Messe". Shuttle buses take air and rail passengers to the site in a few minutes.
Zurich airport is only 70 km away from Lake Constance and can be reached easily on the Romanshorn ferry and the Swiss railway SBB with regular schedules. The immediate proximity to the Zeppelin-Luftschifftechnik company lets you gain fascinating impressions and allows you to take advantage of the tourist flights on offer.
Whether a one-hour round flight of Lake Constance or a complete
company charter is what you need, Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei offers
options for attractive incentives and adventurous entertainment
programmes.
A media network has been laid across the entire exhibition site. Every 7.5 metres we supply the necessary connection points for power, water, compressed air and telecommunications. Roof suspension points are also fitted at intervals of 7.5 metres.
Wood, which is the structural
element of the roof construction, gives the halls a natural and
attractive look. The multifunctional halls A1 and A2 also have added
noise insulation, for better acoustics for concerts, congresses
etc. None of the halls, with the exception of halls B4 and A6, have roof
supports which allows for optimum and unlimited site planning. Halls A3
and A4 have doors with a width of more than 22 metres for access of
large exhibits and entire aircraft to the halls. Specially reserved
parking spaces between the halls keep distances particularly short for
exhibitors. The camping ground in the area of the East Car Park has an
infrastructure that makes living on wheels truly comfortable.
The 4,000 sqm Hall A2 can be divided into up to 3 modules for conferences, congresses or similar events of this kind. Modules can be scaled for 1,000 to 3,000 people.
On the 1st floor of the West Entrance there are more congress and conference rooms next to the central exhibition restaurant. These have capacity for between 10 and 450 participants.
The light flooded foyer - designed as a
communication and meeting area - serves as a distribution and connection
element at the same time. It is, however, also suitable for product
presentations, small exhibitions and receptions or as a platform for
business events.
With a new exhibition era presenting a whole range of new possibilities and events Neue Messe Friedrichshafen starts into a promising future. Just plain figures: twelve halls with an exhibition space of 85,000 sqm, a multi purpose foyer, an open air exhibition ground with 12,000 sqm, 8,500 parking spaces for visitors and exhibitors.
"The exhibition of short distances" - this slogan
will gain in meaning at the new exhibition site: Two spacious entrance
lobbies to the east and the west ensure a steady flow in all halls and
the open air exhibition grounds even when there are crowds of visitors.
An additional attraction will be the the lake covering an area of over
4,500 sqm near the western access. And it provides further space and
opportunities for events at trade fairs i.e. watersports and leisure,
emphazising the unique atmosphere in Friedrichshafen.
With a length of 150m and a width of 67m (10,000 sqm) Hall A 1 is th
biggest building on site. It can take up to 10,500 people. TV
productions, sporting events and concerts will be more often on the
agenda of the Friedrichshafen event calendar. The Hall A 2 with 4,000
sqm can be divided into up to three separate modules holding 1,000
people each and thus is ideally suited to congresses or accompanying
speacialist symposiums. The main restaurant can be found on the first
floor of the West Foyer along with more meeting and conference rooms
(with capacities varying form 10 to 450 people). Another prominent
feature of the halls is the media grid system with connection sockets
every 7.5 meters, providing exhibitors with the vital supply network for
electricity, water, compressed air and telecommunications.
