Some 30,000 trade visitors and over 1,000 journalists from around the world are expected to attend the event. EUROBIKE has become the world’s leading international trade show for the bicycle business. From Thursday through Sunday, 4-7 September 2008, all eyes will be on the cycling industry as it meets on the shores of Lake Constance.
The second EUROBIKE Demo Day has also received an outstanding response from the industry. Manufacturers, retailers and journalists will meet on Wednesday, 3 September 2008 – one day before the opening of EUROBIKE - for a day of test riding in the Allgäu region. “The continued growth of the bicycle exhibition demonstrates how important and attractive this business platform on Lake Constance is for the international bicycle industry,” says Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann. All market leaders and important brands are represented in Friedrichshafen. EUROBIKE is the top international trade show, making it a key showcase for premieres and innovations in the upcoming 2009 season.
Fourth Eurobike Award
The bicycle trade show will feature the fourth EUROBIKE AWARD, bestowed and organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover, Germany. Outstanding design serves as an important guideline for making purchasing decisions on a large market. Participation for students is free of charge. The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, 4 September 2008 at 5:30 pm in Foyer West.
In addition to bikes and accessories, the focus at Eurobike will also be on bicycle clothing. Bike fashion manufacturers will be on hand in Hall A4 with the latest jerseys, pants, shirts and shorts. Exhibits by all the leading bike clothing brands will be complemented by the Eurobike Fashion Show.
