Tip on getting here by car

Before you set off for Friedrichshafen, we’d like to mention some potential bottlenecks and recommend some alternative routes. Traffic may become congested on the B31 highway, so look for a sign near Meersburg that says “Nebenstrecke Messe”, which gives you another route to the trade fair (see graphic: Detour 1).
If you’re coming from Lindau using the A96 highway and then the B31, and you encounter heavy traffic, then exit the B31 at Kressbronn and continue via Bürgermoos to the trade fair. This alternative route (see graphic: Detour 2) is signposted all the way to the trade fair. For those coming from the north, instead of travelling the B30 (Ravensburg–Meckenbeuren–Friedrichshafen), we recommend using an alternative route via Oberteuringen and Ailingen (see graphic: Detour 3).

In Friedrichshafen simply follow the signs Messe.
