Thanks to the new Croozer Dog, there’s finally a way for larger dogs to let the good times roll!
The sun is shining, and the days are long: perfect conditions for hitting the trails with a canine companion. And thanks to Croozer, even larger dogs can now enjoy long bike outings with their owners. The premium bike trailer Croozer Dog was specially designed to meet the needs of larger breeds and dogs with disabilities, offering maximum quality and safety. Three different sizes will be available (L for dogs up to 25 kg, XL for up to 35 kg and XXL for up to 45 kg). The new dog-trailer series will be presented for the first time at the Eurobike 2018 in Friedrichshafen (Stand A2-404).
When the weather is warm and the birds are singing, there’s no place a dog would rather be than out in nature! And if walking the same route day after day starts to get a bit humdrum, bike rides can offer a welcome change of pace (and scenery), particularly for larger dogs. However, if the ride gets too long or too fast, as is often the case with the increasingly popular e-bikes, it can be more difficult or even impossible for dogs to keep up. Croozer has the perfect solution: the Croozer Dog , which was specially developed in consultation with breeders, dog trainers and canine therapists for large and heavy dogs up to 35 kg. The trailer offers plenty of comfort, even for taller dogs, and ensures that pets (and their owners) have everything they need for an enjoyable ride.
The somewhat smaller windows on all four sides are also ideal for apprehensive or nervous dogs: they enable pets to keep an eye on their owners at all times so that they can feel safe and secure. A blind for the rear window offers additional safety.
Dogs are lifetime companions, which is why the Croozer Dog was designed for all phases of a dog’s life. A puppy guard can be added for protecting the fabric body from the chewing behaviour of younger dogs. Hyperactive, older or handicapped dogs will have no problem getting safely into or out of the cabin, thanks to the parking brake and anti-slip floor. Croozer stands behind its commitment to quality and durability by offering a 10-year warranty on its frames and a 3-year warranty on its trailers (croozer.com/warranty-2018 ).
But what about when the weather turns cold and wet? If the Croozer Dog is not needed during the winter months, it can be quickly and easily folded up and stowed away, thanks to the telescopic folding mechanism. Another option is to remove the wheels and use it as a comfy dog crate at home or in the car. And for year-round cycling enthusiasts who have no problem with rain or snow: the waterproof protective cover in the front of the trailer helps keep canine passengers warm and dry.
The Croozer Dog XL (max. dog weight 35 kg) will be available from August at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of €799. The Dog L (max. 25 kg) (€699) and XXL (max. 45 kg) (€899) will soon follow as the next available models in the Croozer Dog series.
