Påhoj is the new child bike seat that turns into a stroller in a second.
Why choose between a bike or stroller, when you can have both? Påhoj is the new child bike seat that turns into a stroller in a second. No more carrying your kid around! Just unfold the wheels, detach the seat, pull out the handle and you’re off. Easy peasy!
Påhoj is invented in Sweden by parent and industrial designer Lycke von Schantz, to give families the freedom to explore urban adventures together. It’s suitable for kids from 9 months till about 5 years or with a maximum weight of 22 kg and designed to fulfil EU safety standards of both child bike seats and strollers.
“Growing up in Lund, Sweden’s largest bike city, and living several years in Amsterdam, biking as always been the natural way of transportation for me. Why should becoming a parent put an end to that?” – Lycke von Schantz, Founder of PåHoj AB.
Påhoj has a lightweight chassis with an adjustable telescopic handle to fit different sized parents. For easy storage and to optimize the size when biking, the rear legs can be folded in, making Påhoj nearly half its size. Påhoj comes with an adapter for fixation to the bike frame and is therefore not dependent on a parcel carrier. The adapter is suitable for bicycles with standard 26 or 28-inch wheels and fits round tube frames with a diameter of 28-40mm.
PåHoj AB will launch pre-orders for consumers in their web shop in September 2018. Shipping starts Spring 2019.
Have a nice ride. And walk!
