General conditions for rental of an ERIBA CARAVAN

1. Applicable Law, Position of the Customer, Content of the Agreement
Object of the agreement is exclusively the rental of a caravan (non-mobile). A rental agreement is reached between lessor (Messe Friedrichshafen GmbH) and the lessee, which is subject exclusively to German law, namely, primarily the provisions of this agreement – and in an auxiliary capacity the statutory regulations relating to the rental agreement. The handing over and completion report to be completed in full and signed by the lessee and the ERIBA CITY reception also forms an integral part of the rental agreemen. Multiple lessees are jointly and severally liable.

2. Rental Charges
Rental charges are based on the prices given in the price list valid at the time of conclusion of the agreement, unless a special price has been agreed upon or the rental price agreement is based on an obvious error.

3. Reservation, changes, cancellation, deposit
Upon reservation the total amount will be charged to your credit card immediately.
Conditions of cancellation:
- Cancellation free of charge until two month before arrival date.
- After that 50% of the rental will be refunded.
- For a cancellation within five days before the arrival date or in case of no-show no refund will be given.
The lessee is at liberty to prove that no loss or less loss has been incurred. The lessor is at liberty to prove that higher loss has been incurred.
In case of damages, we shall reserve the right to debit the deposit of € 300 from your credit card. To change reservation or in case of cancellation please contact:, indicating your booking confirmation
number. Furthermore the lessor has got the right to withdraw from the contract for justified reasons such as act of nature beyond control.

4. Check-in, return of the caravan, ERIBA CITY reception on P East 2
The lessee is obliged to take part in a short briefing by the ERIBA CITY reception to make himself familiar with its use. He also has to sign the completion report upon departure. The caravan will be available and the key handed over on the arrival day from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. The inventory and the return of the key will be effected on departure day from 7:30 to 9:30 am.

5. Completion report, notice of defects
With the check-out the lessee will sign a completion report. In case of discovering a damage after moving into the caravan, the lessee should tell it to the ERIBA CITY reception as soon as possible.

6. Forbidden use
It’s only allowed to use the caravan in a ordinary way. Subleasing is strictly prohibited. The caravan must be treated carefully and be locked each time when it is left.

7. Smoking ban and prohibition of pets
Pets and smoking are absolutely forbidden in the caravans. Costs for cleaning because of those have to be paid by the lessee.

8. Liability
If the caravan is lost or damaged, or the rental agreement is breached, the lessee is generally liable under the terms of the general liability regulations.

9. Court of Jurisdiction
The domicile of the lessor shall be the court of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or about this contract insofar as the lessee does not have a general court of jurisdiction in Germany, or after conclusion of the contract has moved his residence or regular abode to another country, or his residence or regular abode is unknown when the lawsuit is filed, and the lessee is a competent business man or an equal person in the sense of § 38 Section 1 ZPO (German Civil Procedure).

10. Final Clauses
All agreements must be in written form. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions of business be or become invalid this shall have no effect on the other provisions. Provisions becoming invalid must be reinterpreted in such a way that their purpose can be effectively fulfilled. Mandatory regulations shall remain unaffected and shall be considered as such.
