Frank Hofmann, born in 1967, married, 3 children, lives near Hanover, a graduate in cartography and in geography with tourism management and economics, is a pioneer of cycle tourism. He has been involved in the ADFC (German Cyclist’s Association) expert committee on tourism, was on the ADFC federal executive board for 10 years, has founded projects such as “Explore Germany by bike” and the “ADFC cycle tourism analysis” and written the ADFC practical guide “Long-distance cycle routes in Germany”. He was also the first speaker at Travel Talk 2001. Professionally, after posts with TUI Deutschland, DERTouristik, Unister and Urlaubstours, he has been managing director of the sharing economy platform gloveler GmbH for two years.
