MTB infrastructure – Innovative destination development and planning, as illustrated by Zermatt
Zermatt aims to establish itself as an attractive mountain bike destination in the future through services tailored to the needs of the market. Adrian Greiner explains how a mountain bike destination such as this can be sustainably developed from scratch. In doing so, he shows which instruments accelerate the planning processes, how important coordinated development is for success and how the infrastructures that have developed from this can in turn impact the market.
