The Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland (MTBCOS) was set up in 2014 with a remit to grow knowledge transfer activities between the Scottish academic sector and the cycling industry. We will present the details of the model used in Scotland and illustrate examples of the benefits of knowledge transfer activities between academia and business.
